Two Arrested Exactly Two Years Ago
Two drivers were arrested after an accident that injured 32-year-old Officer Baribault on the Long Island Expressway. The drivers were 27-year-old Marcin Bykuc and 29-year-old Rahiem Griffin.
Bykuc was pulled over in a black Kia SUV on the LIE by Officer Baribault and while the officer was sitting in his cruiser behind him, it was allegedly struck in the rear by a silver Mercedes Benz CLK320 driven by Griffin causing it to move forward into Bykuc’s Kia sport utility vehicle.
Officer Baribault was taken to the hospital where it was discovered that he had spine, hip and head trauma and over time has been making health improvements.
