SC Remembers Officer Glen Ciano
New York continues to remember Suffolk County Officer Glen Ciano who died while on duty a year ago on Sunday, February 22, 2009.
The highly regarded veteran cop of twenty-two (22) years met in a traffic accident on a Sunday as with Nassau County Officer Kenneth Baribault but unlike Officer Baribault on the (LIE) Long Island Expressway, Officer Ciano was not fortunate to have survived the accident due to his patrol car bursting into flames by the Vanderbilt Motor Parkway.
Officer Ciano was hit by an alledged drunk driver while in his patrol car by a 2007 Dodge Magnum which is alleged to have been driven by Jose Borbon of Plainview.
