Trial Begins in a Few Hours
Tomorrow morning (Monday, June 1, 2009), the Nassau DA’s office and Rahiem Griffin’s defense attorneys will have the chance to make their case.
Griffin faces a maximum of seven years in prison if convicted of the charges.
The trial is a result of the alleged incident that happened on the Long Island Expressway (LIE) on the morning of Sunday May 18, 2008 and follows approximately a year after Griffin was arraigned on an eight-count indictment.
