Rahiem Griffin’s Trial Just Days Away
It took fifty four (54) weeks but the opening statements for the trial of 28-year old Rahiem Griffin is just days three (3) days away.
On Monday, June 1, 2009, the Nassau DA’s office and Griffins defense attorneys will have the chance to make their case.
Griffin faces a maximum of seven years in prison if convicted of the charges.
The trial is a result of the alleged incident that happened on the Long Island Expressway (LIE) on the morning of Sunday May 18, 2008 and follows approximately a year after Griffin was arraigned on an eight-count indictment.
