Son and Father’s Day
Christopher, son of injured Nassau County Police Officer Kenneth Baribault, will see his father today. Five Sundays ago while making a routine traffic stop on the Long Island Expressway, Officer Baribault’s cruiser was alledged to have been struck in the rear by 27-year-old Rahiem Griffin who is alledged to be driving while drunk after pulling over Marcin Bykuc.
Since the accident, Officer Baribault has been in Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) trying to recover from the impact that caused spine, hip and head trauma.
Today will be the first day in 5 weeks that Christopher will get to see his father.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Baribault family, especially for Ken and that he makes a complete and speedy recovery.
